What we collect
LotoPowerball is a static informational website. We do not require accounts and we do not collect personal information directly through forms. However, your visit is recorded in standard server logs and analytics, including:
- IP address (truncated or anonymized for analytics purposes)
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on each
- Referring website (which site sent you to us)
- Approximate geographic location (country/region, derived from IP)
- Device type (mobile/desktop)
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
How we use it
We use this data to:
- Understand how visitors find and use our site
- Improve content, navigation, and user experience
- Detect technical issues and security threats
- Measure the effectiveness of affiliate placements
- Display relevant advertising (where applicable)
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Third-party services we use
We rely on several third-party services that may collect their own data subject to their own privacy policies:
- Cloudflare — CDN and security. See Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Google Analytics 4 — site usage analytics. We use anonymized IP and IP truncation. See Google privacy policy.
- Google AdSense (if active) — display advertising. Google may serve personalized ads based on browsing history. See above.
- Affiliate partners — when you click affiliate links, partner sites set their own cookies and follow their own privacy policies. See Affiliate Disclosure.

We use cookies to:
- Remember your preferences (such as dismissed banners)
- Provide analytics via Google Analytics
- Track affiliate click attribution
- Display relevant ads via Google AdSense

Your rights under CCPA (California)
California residents have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act to:

- Know whether personal information is sold or disclosed (we do not sell)

- Access personal information collected in the prior 12 months
- Request deletion of personal information
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

Data retention
Server logs are retained for approximately 30 days for security and debugging purposes. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months in Google Analytics, after which it is automatically deleted. We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purposes outlined above.
Data transfers
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare's global infrastructure, which means data may be processed in countries outside the EU/UK. All transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards as required by GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses).
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect data we collect, including:
- HTTPS encryption on all pages
- Cloudflare DDoS protection and WAF
- Minimal data collection (we don't keep what we don't need)
However, no online service is 100% secure. If you have concerns, please contact us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of our site after changes constitutes acceptance.
